left to fall
lonely loves company
lost loves leave but one
a leap of faith with a lovely heart
can break both
your faith
your fall
spilling forth, frantic letters
which, wishfully walk each other into words
willingly washing over one's soul
nourish, nurture, wrap arms around her song
bearing all, tearing flesh away and extending both hands cups of blood
bleed to bond and become one together
sunken shoreline feet watch the tide slip away
she sits beneath the surface
you stand in a shallow pool of memories
fading each day
melting away
feeling familiar, finding lost pieces of what was once one
